Hoi An was the most beautiful place and definitely my favourite in Vietnam. It was so quaint and atmospheric.
We arrived in Danang by train and were picked up by the hostel, which ended up being about an hour away. Once we had sorted out our room (double booking hostel mare) and dumped our bags we headed out to the Old Town which was a short walk from our hostel, we had an explore admired the lanterns and the town itself! There are so many tailors and cute shops full of things I desperately wanted but for love nor money could I of rammed into my rucksack. That evening the four of us went for dinner and had some drinks, which was lovely to see the town at night with all the lanterns lit up.
The next morning we wanted to see the old town in a little more depth so we bought a ticket to see a few of the different places, we visited museums, pagodas, old houses and bridges. We got some lunch in between then raced to watch a historical dance in an old house which was lovely to see. That evening we got street food and again went for drinks and ended up at Tiger Tiger which was fun!
