We only had a short stop in Brisbane, I spent the day we arrived doing laundry -yay-. We decided to go to Australia Zoo the next day; I'm not massive on zoo's but as it was associated with Steve Irwin we thought it would be the best one to visit. It was very quiet considering it was a weekend but that worked out for the best. We saw the Steve Irwin show which I wasn't keen on, it was however nice to see the Steve Irwin tributes.
On our 3rd day in Brisbane we wandered around and went to the viewing deck at City Hall clock tower to see the whole city and ended up getting tea and cakes in the tea room which in fact cost more than our last 3 dinners - the worst backpackers -.
