After getting off the clipper we headed back to the hostel to grab our rucksacks before heading off on the overnight bus to Rainbow beach. We spent a night at dingo's hostel before going on the Self Drive 4WD Fraser Tour. We headed off fairly early in our car and were put into a group of 8, we had a lovely group and had loads of fun which was lucky as we spent 3 days/2 nights with the same people. The weather wasn't that warm but the island was still beautiful, we visited Eli Creek, the Champagne Pools, Indian Head and several other places. It was scary driving the 4WD and I only drove a little bit over the beach, luckily we had a group full of people willing to drive! We had some really good nights and headed to the beach on the second night. We got to see dingo's as well! Fraser Island was definitely my favourite place in Australia and something I would do again and recommend.
