We crossed the border into Vietnam and the good thing about G Adventures was that we got to do a homestay on the Mekong Delta. The family we stayed with were lovely and the rooms were very sweet however being woken by rats running overhead wasn't my favourite thing. The family took us around their village and taught us about vietnamese life which was very interesting.
In the morning we went to a floating market before leaving which was touristy but still had locals buying and selling local produce where the coffee was supposedly incredible (I hate coffee so couldn't tell you first hand I'm afraid..).
