Sihanoukville was our final stop on a short but sweet trip through Cambodia, however there's so many places I'd like to go back too. Sihanoukville itself was probably my least favourite place. We went to the beach once we'd arrived from Phnom Penh, it was a little disappointing and clearly a large tourist destination. The beach was a bit dirty and we were constantly pestered by people attempting to sell us things then verbally abused by children for not, which is not the greatest whilst we were tying to relax. We had dinner at a BBQ restaurant which did amazing fish and salad!
The following day we had decided to do a boat trip to a nearby island which took about an hour on a long boat to get too. It was beautiful and we spent the day swimming, playing volleyball and frisbee. The lunch was also delicious. We stopped on the way back to snorkel however it was too deep to really see anything. We didn't have much time there which was fine however I would of liked to head out to Koh Rong as I've heard such good things from so many people!
