Accommodation: Stones Bar Dorm Rooms and Restaurant
Next Stop: Bangkok
We arrived at Koh Phi Phi by boat and attempted to find our hostel. We took a wrong turn and ended up going the longest way possible *great start*. Phi Phi doesn't have roads so we had to drag our bags with us but once we were in the hostel it was so much nicer not to feel we were constantly going to be rammed by bikes or tuk tuks. We explored the island a bit that day then started the night at our hostel before venturing further down the beach until everything closed down.
We decided whilst exploring the island the day before to book a trip to Maya Bay, the beach from 'The Beach'. The boat ride was nothing other than hellish. I thought I was going to vomit every second I've never felt so motion sick, at one point I thought death might be easier... We rode past monkey island but the tide was too high to visit which was a shame. We stopped to snorkel which was nice although I spent the whole time floating about in a life jacket trying to stay alive after feeling horrendous for the past hour. We headed next to Maya Bay which was a lovely white sand beach but I'm sure you can imagine is completely packed with tourists. We were there for a few hours and I spent the whole time asleep honestly waking just before our boat left and in time to take some photos.
After a short but sweet stay in Koh Phi Phi we headed back to Karon before catching the flight from Phuket to Bangkok, our last stop.
